One thing every runner and walker should know about apparel is that “cotton is rotten.” That’s a mantra you’ll want to remember as it relates to workout clothing (otherwise, wear as much cotton as you’d like!). The reason we say that in the running world is because cotton soaks up sweat rather than allowing it to evaporate.
