Adrienne hails from Tennessee and brings her fun-loving, can-do attitude to St. Pete Running Company. She started running when she was in grad school at the University of West Georgia as a way to stay fit and to help with the stress and anxiety of school. Her mom, also a runner, passed along a passion for distance running and was the person who signed her up for her first half marathon: Gasparilla. That’s when Adrienne fell in love with the Tampa Bay Area. Since then, she has done 7 half marathons and 3 full marathons. Her ultimate goal is to qualify for Boston before she turns 30. She currently lives in Seminole with her wonderful husband and 2 pups.
Mandy started running after college when she read the book Born to Run and her sister tricked her into signing up for a 5K. She’s been a distance runner ever since with her favorite distances ranging from half marathons to 10K and 5K races to triathlons and trail races. One day she hopes to compete in an Ultra Marathon in New Zealand. One of her favorite things about working for SPRC is talking to customers and trouble-shooting with walkers and runners. She gets such joy out of seeing our customer family have the Aha! moments in their fitness journey.

Allison grew up playing soccer and got into running in her early 20’s. She’s close to graduating with a masters in instructional design for developing training materials (such as online modules, classes, videos). These skills allowed for a natural transition into teaching people about running shoes and running form. She has completed 26 half marathons in 26 states, so she’s over halfway to her goal of a half in every state. She’s also completed 3 full marathons. During a 12-hour endurance run, she ran her longest distance to date: 46 miles. This year she did her first triathlon at Ft. Desoto.
Thomas’s love for running started at a young age. As a kid, he would follow his Dad on his bike while his Dad ran, which led to racing in middle school track. Not only does he enjoy running, he also enjoys competing in triathlons. Thomas believes there is no greater community than our local running community, from whom he draws inspiration. He loves spending time with like-minded individuals at St. Pete Running Company, and he’s passionate about helping them with their running needs.
Kerri recently relocated from Virginia where she ran her first 26.2 this past fall. As a Certified Exercise Physiologist, she loves learning and teaching others about the mechanics of their bodies and how to stay injury-free. Growing up a competitive gymnast and runner, she continues running for the personal competition and free therapy. Though she has her eyes set on one day Boston-qualifying, her ultimate goal is to help others adopt healthier lifestyles and to never outrun her love of running.

When she’s not helping people reach their personal running goals, she’s a teacher of fourth graders. She’s also active in her church community. One of her bucket list goals is to run a race in every state.

Coach Maria, a local running coach, comes in on occasion to help us out. She brings her “Never Say Never” attitude to SPRC. She helps runners of all levels reach their goals (and have some fun!). A former overweight music major at Gordon College, Maria signed up for her first triathlon in 1999 at a time when she couldn’t swim, bike, or run. Since then, she has accomplished over 100 races from 5k to Ironman and wants everyone to feel as great as she does on a daily basis. With a husband and two children, she understands the demands of training and the impact it can have on family life. She not only trains runners but teaches them the art of training smart, recovering properly, and racing hard while maintaining life balance.
