We Run For CUPCAKES!!!! Enjoy a beautiful 5k on the sand followed by your favorite treat…CUPCAKES! St. Pete Running Company’s Race For The Cupcake 5K is on the beach at Pass-A-Grille Beach. We’d love for you to join us! Runners, joggers, and walkers welcome.

5K PRICE STRUCTURE:
FOR THE KIDS: FREE Kids Run begins roughly at 8:45 AM with a 400 meter dash
PACKET PICK-UP: Get your packets at St. Pete Running Company prior to the race
This race benefits Girls on The Run. Girls on The Run is a non-profit program that encourages girls to devlop self-respect, to be joyful and confident, and to live a healthy lifestyle through interactive lessons, running games, and a culminating celebratory 5k run
All registrants will receive a medal, refreshments, and a cupcake. This year we’re giving you a really cool Race For the Cupcake signature cup!
A: Yes. When you click the registration link, you will see the option to purchase a Virtual 5K.
A: We’re doing something even better.
A: All race participants will receive a bib, finishers medal and a cupcake at the finish line. There will also be refreshments at the finish line. Each participant also receives an awesome gift to be announce soon 🙂
A: Yes. Runners, joggers, and walkers of all levels welcome.
A: You can, however, this race takes place on the beach sand. That will make it difficult to push a stroller.
A: Yes. There is a FREE 400 meter dash for the kids. The Kids Run begins at 8:45 AM. All the kids will also receive a finisher medal.
A: No. As this race takes place on the beach at Pass-a-Grille where pets are prohibited, so dogs and pets will not be permitted in this race. Bystanders may have a pet on a leash so long as they do not bring the pet onto the beach.
A: Yes. Craft Kafe will be providing the gluten-free cupcakes for any race participants who request a gluten-free option.
A: Yes. Here is the 5K Price Structure:
A: Online registration closes March 5th
A: Yes. It is a beach race that takes place on the sand.
A: No. There is timing for the course, but as it takes place on the sand, it will not be a certified course.
A: Yes. You can come into St. Pete Running Company and pay for the race at the register any day prior to race day.
A: Yes, but we encourage you to pick up your packet on the two packet pick-up days prior to the race. Packets can be picked up race morning 7:00 – 7:45 AM at Hurley Park.
A: Yes, but only if the race has not already sold out, and unfortunately we cannot guarantee a hat for those race participants who pay the morning of the race.
