Race For The Cupcake

A: Yes. When you click the registration link, you will see the option to purchase a Virtual 5K.

A: No, we are giving out limited edition tech running cupcake socks.

A: All race participants will receive a bib, a timed 5K, a finisher’s medal, limited edition tech running cupcake socks, and a cupcake at the finish line. There will also be refreshments at the finish line.

A: Yes. Runners, joggers, and walkers of all levels welcome.

A: You can, however, this race takes place on the beach sand. That will make it difficult to push a stroller.

A: Yes. There is a FREE 400 meter dash for the kids. Register your kids for the free kids run on the event registration page. The Kids Run begins at 8:45 AM. All the kids will also receive a finisher’s medal.

If your child would like to do the 5K event, it is the same price as the regular price.

A: No. This race takes place on the beach at Pass-a-Grille where pets are prohibited, so dogs and pets will not be permitted in this race. Bystanders may have a pet on a leash so long as they do not bring the pet onto the beach.

A: Yes. Craft Kafe will be providing the gluten-free cupcakes for any race participants who request a gluten-free option.

A: Yes. Here is the 5K Price Structure:

• Feb 28 – March 26 $25
• March 27 – April 7 $30
• April 8 – April 12 $40
• RACE MORNING April 13 – $50.00
• Kids 400 meter Race is FREE

A: Online registration closes April 12th.

A: Yes. It is a beach race that takes place on the sand.

A: No, it is not certified. The event will be timed with chips, but as it takes place on the sand, it will not be a certified course.

A: No. All registration is done online, but if you have any trouble registering, you can come into St. Pete Running Company with your credit card and we can help you get registered.

A: Yes, but we encourage you to pick up your packet on the two packet pick-up days prior to the race. Packets can be picked up race morning 7:00 – 7:45 AM at Hurley Park.

A: Yes, but only if the race has not already sold out, and unfortunately we cannot guarantee limited edition tech running cupcake socks for those race participants who pay the morning of the race.
