StrideSmart Shoe Fitting Process
Take the first step by coming into St. Pete Running Company and we’ll walk you through our totally free, one-of-a-kind shoe fitting called StrideSmart. Our expert staff will go over your goals and history (including a discussion of any past injuries), evaluate a few functional movements, analyze your gait, and discuss areas of strength and weakness in regard to walking and running (and how to strengthen any weak areas).
Finding the Right Shoe For You
Once our expert staff evaluates the type of shoes that will be best for you, you’ll have an opportunity to get your feet into different brands to find just the right shoe for you. At times, people come into the shop wanting to get the same shoe a friend or family member uses for walking or running. We don’t recommend starting there because every foot is different, but rather start with your own shoe fitting and gait analysis. However, we are happy to let you try out specific brands that interest you, and we’ll provide our recommendations related to your specific goals and needs.
