St. Pete Running Company’s Race For The Cupcake 5K is in its 8th year! This is a fun, timed 3.1 mile-run on the beach at Pass-A-Grille Beach. Runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages welcome. There is also a kids race that’s free.

So if you love running and you love cupcakes, we’d love for you and your whole family to join us as we Race For The Cupcake on Saturday, April 13th. Enjoy a beautiful 5K on the sand followed by your favorite treat…Cupcakes! This is a celebration run of our community.

All registrants will receive a bib, a finisher’s medal, limited edition tech running cupcake socks, and a cupcake! There is a gluten-free option available from Craft Kafe.

Race Details

WHAT: Race for the Cupcake 5K (run or walk 3.1 miles and then enjoy a delicious cupcake)

WHERE: Pass-A-Grille Beach, Hurley Park (address: 1501 Gulf Way, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706)

WHO: You and all your family and friends!

5K PRICE STRUCTURE (Online registration closes 11:59 PM on April 12th)

RACE MORNING April 13 – $50.00

FOR THE KIDS: FREE Kids Run begins roughly at 8:45 AM with a 400 meter dash. All participating kids receive finishers medal!

PACKET PICK-UP: Get your packets at St. Pete Running Company prior to the race on these dates.

Running for Cupcakes AND a Great Cause

This race benefits Girls on The Run. Girls on The Run is a non-profit program that encourages girls to develop self-respect, to be joyful and confident, and to live a healthy lifestyle through interactive lessons, running games, and a culminating celebratory 5k run.
