Join us for The St. Pete Mile! Whether you're looking to run your first ever mile or you're trying to crush your personal best, this is for you! Last year was a HUGE success, and we're making it even better this year. This is friendly, laid back, inclusive and above all it's FUN!
We meet on a Friday Night under the lights on the Track on June 7th at Northside Christian School (Address: 7777 62nd Ave North in St. Pete). The Run Distance is 1 mile.The cost to register is $10. The event commences at 6:45. There will be multiple heats of the mile so participants can run with people of comparable speed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q - Do I have to be fast or experienced to do this?
A - No! Our events and programming are for people of all abilities and paces.
Q - What if I'm not that fast?
A- We group participants into pace groups so you will run with people of your approximate speed. Example: All the people who run 8:30 per mile will be seeded in the Moxie Mile which is for those who run 7:00-9:00 pace. You won't be racing against someone looking to run 4:30.
Q - Will there be medals?
A - No, but you can take lots of pictures and catalog your experience on social media. This keeps your cost down and doesn't take up space in your closet.
Q - How do I know what pace I run?
A - We recommend timing yourself for a practice mile and using that. We also have track training on Wednesday mornings at 5:30 AM and Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM at Northside Christian Track. Training on a track can help you understand approximately what pace you'll be able to run during the race.
Q - Can my kids run this?
A - YES! Kids 12 & Under can participate for free! Children are our future and they deserve a healthy and active lifestyle. Toddlers/small children can do the 1-Lap (400 meters or 1/4 Mile) or the Kids Mile, depending on how much running they have been doing.
Q - Can I bring my dog?
A - No. We aren't allowed dogs on the track.
Q - How does Pace Your Race work?
A- Pace your race is for all participants. Even if you've run a previous mile. Before the event you'll need to predict your estimated mile finishing time. We'll hide all clocks & there's no watches for this event. The finisher who gets the closest to their estimated time will be the winner and get $50.

Four-Week Duathlon Training Program
Starts December 30th
Join us for our popular Duathlon Training Course. Duathlon is a multisport race of Run, Bike, Run. This course is 4 weeks long and will teach you the essentials of Duathlon. It will include group runs, speed work, cycling and also Duathlon specific workouts called bricks. The psychology of racing and nutrition will be covered in this course. Positioned primarily in January 2019, this is a great way for runners to cross train, learn new things, and get a start in multisports.
The course will be lead by our expert staff who are friendly and motivating. The optional goal race is The Chilly Willy Duathlon at Beautiful Fort Desoto on January 27th, 2019. As an event partner in the race, we will be there to support you on the day as well.
Cost: $79.99 (Limited to 20 spots)You'll get a 10% Discount in our store for the duration of the program, our on-site Athletic Trainers will provide you with a free one-on-one injury prevention screening, and you'll receive free products from Gatorade Endurance.
Training commences on December 30th.
A typical Weekly Schedule will be like this:
Monday, 6:30 PM: (Store) Dynamics, easy running, core + foam rolling.
Wednesday, 5:30 AM or 6:30 PM: (track) Core + Speedwork.
Thursday, 6:30 PM: (Store) Dynamics, recovery slow run, core strength (Optional Day)
Sunday, Early Morning: (Store or various locations) Brick workout of Cycling, Running and Core strength.
This class is for Novice to intermediate athletes.
Athletes will need a road bike, helmet and running shoes. We will help teach you everything else!

Five-Week Bridge Run Training
Starts January 27th
Are you looking to improve your overall fitness? Bridge and hill training is for you! If you're signed up for the Skyway 10K, this training group is for you! (Please note we are not affiliated with the race). You don't have to be signed up for a race to join this group. All are welcome to come out and train with this fun and inclusive group!
Our expert staff will lead you through these training sessions where we'll help you not only improve your running technique, but you'll improve overall strength and efficiency on hills and bridges.
Cost: $49.99 for 5 Weeks
Drop in rate: $15 per workout session
If you register for the whole program you will receive 10% Discount in store purchases until March 5. You'll get a 10% Discount in our store for the duration of the program, our on-site Athletic Trainers will provide you with a free one-on-one injury prevention screening, and you'll receive free products from Gatorade Endurance.
This 5 week session will start January 27th and end on February 24th, the week before the Skyway 10k. The official dates for each session are Jan 27th, Feb 3, Feb 10th, Feb 17th, Feb 24th. The location will vary with each session, but there will be hills and/or bridges at each one! Each workout is different and will focus on a specific skill for hill running guaranteed to improve your fitness and do so without causing injury to your body.
